I heard an interesting comment on the radio today.  That they have found that harvesting wine grapes at night to allow the grapes to be harvested at a cooler better temperature.  This offers the benefit of harvesting higher quality grapes and it also offers a savings to the winery in reducing the cooling costs from day harvesting.

I found an article: Night Harvesting boosts quality , that says by night harvesting of the grapes it estimates wineries are saving 20% to 30% of their cooling costs. It also says, “The benefits are a better quality grape, and substantial savings on cooling costs.”

Personal Wine Default 125x125 No.2

Now we need to see if there is any wine that only harvests their grapes at night.
