Remember that form tasting wine can involve many aspects related to various criteria. For instance, factors such as appearance and taste need to be considered always. When it comes to the aspect related to appearance, you should note that good wines should ideally have great clarity and color. It is a known fact that some wines just win based on the former aspect of clarity whilst the issue of color will detail issues pertaining to varietal and age. Wine tasters also need to consider the appearance of wine in order to judge the right kind of wine. The feature of appearance is sub-divided into things like intensity, nose and complexity. Intensity would detail how strong the aroma is, for example whether you can smell it when it is at shoulder level or not. Then you have nose, which details whether it is a pleasant smell or not. Finally, complexity would mean whether there are many flavors or not. There still is more that needs to be discussed when looking into form tasting wine.
Finally, form tasting wine also takes into account balance, complexity and finish. Balance would detail whether all things like acidity, fruit, sugar, delicacy and structure offer a harmonious blend. Complexity on the other hand deals with whether the wine is interesting or appeals to the palate. And lastly the finish would pertain to the aftertaste of the wine.
Remember though that a form tasting wine should in essence have something that is complete in its entirety so that all aspects of a wine are mentioned. Having said this, you would be aware that form tasting wine could have more that this type of conventional aspects mentioned, it is up to you whether you want to be innovative or not.
